From 6th to 10th September 2026, Istanbul, Turkey, will host the World Buiatrics Congress 2026, one of the leading international events for professionals working in cattle and ruminant health.
Ceva will take part in the congress with a dedicated symposium on reproduction, four oral presentations and thirteen scientific posters covering herd health, reproduction and calf health.
Through these contributions, Ceva will share new scientific data and practical insights related to Q fever, vector borne diseases, reproductive management, mastitis, bovine respiratory disease, pain assessment and responsible treatment strategies.
What will Ceva’s symposium focus on?
Ceva’s symposium will take place on Tuesday 8th September, from 14:00 to 15:30, and will focus on cattle reproduction under the title Breeding for the Future: Reproduction Management Drives Farm Sustainability.
The session will feature three expert presentations. Professor Pietro Baruselli, from the University of São Paulo, will discuss Fertility Programs in Cattle: How Reproductive Management Reduces Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Enhances Sustainability. Professor Paul Fricke, from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, will present Foundational Reproduction Programs for Dairy Herds: How to Improve Breeding Efficiency? Finally, Dr Federico Randi from Ceva Santé Animale will present The Economic Impact of the Systematic Application of Fertility Programs in Dairy Herds: A European Perspective.
The symposium will provide an opportunity to explore current scientific and practical approaches to reproductive management and discuss how reproductive strategies can support fertility, herd performance and farm sustainability.

What can visitors expect at the Ceva stand?
The booth will offer an opportunity to meet Ceva’s teams, discuss the research presented and exchange knowledge about the main challenges currently affecting ruminant health.
